Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cross vehicle brace.
  2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front .
  3. Remove the intake manifold insulator.
    4. Fig 1: Intake Manifold & Cylinder Bolts

  4. Remove the fuel pipe shield to intake manifold bolts (1).
  5. Remove the fuel pipe shield to cylinder bolt (1).
  6. Carefully remove the fuel pipe shield from the vehicle. Take care not to damage the insulation behind the shield.
