Human Machine Interface Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
  2. Remove the digital radio receiver to gain access to the module. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Replacement .
1 Human Machine Interface Control Module

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connections.
  2. Loosen the bracket and move to the right to access the module.
  3. Remove module from retaining tabs to release from bracket.
  4. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
  5. When replacing the module the label must be oriented toward the drivers side (left side). If installed opposite the navigation system will malfunction.
