Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear window shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying RFA Electrical Connector

  2. Disconnect the remote function actuator (RFA) (1) electrical connector (2).

    NOTE:

    Removal of the RFA is only accessible through the rear compartment.

  3. Remove the RFA by releasing the two retaining tangs (1) and removing it from the rear window shelf.
