Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON, verify that DTC C0186, C0196, or C0710 is not set as a present DTC.
- If any listed DTC is present, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle diagnose that DTC prior to continuing on with this diagnostic.
Ignition OFF, inspect the steering wheel angle sensor and multi-axis acceleration sensor for correct installation.
- If loose or incorrect installation is diagnosed, correct the installation of the component.
Operate the vehicle within the conditions for setting the DTC and verify that DTC C0280 does not reset.
- If the DTC resets, replace the EBCM and verify DTC does not reset. If the DTC resets, replace the brake pressure modulator valve assembly.
