Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Fuel Feed Pipe

  1. Connect the engine compartment fuel feed pipe (1) to the fuel feed line. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  2. Install the engine compartment fuel feed pipe (1) at the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Install the fuel filler cap.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) .
  5. Inspect for fuel leaks using the following method
    1. Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds.
    2. Turn OFF the ignition for 2 seconds.
    3. Turn ON the ignition.
    4. Inspect the connections of the fuel feed pipe (1) for leaks.
