Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Knock Sensor To Engine Block Retaining Bolt

Connect the engine wiring harness (3) to the knock sensor (2).
Position the knock sensor (2) on the engine block.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the knock sensor to engine block retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Connect the battery ground cable to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) .
