Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Mass Air Flow (MAF)/Air Intake Temperature (IAT) Sensor & Wiring Harness Connector

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF)/air intake temperature (IAT) wiring harness connector (2) to mass air flow (MAF)/air intake temperature (IAT) sensor (1).
  2. Fig 2: Identifying Upper Air Cleaner Body & Air Intake Duct To MAF/IAT Sensor Retaining Clamps

  3. Loosen the air intake duct to MAF/IAT sensor retaining clamp (2).
  4. Loosen the upper air cleaner body to MAF/IAT sensor retaining clamp (1).
  5. Remove the air intake duct from the mass air flow MAF/IAT sensor.
  6. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor from the upper air cleaner body.
