Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  2. Remove the front floor console side cover. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C3) , Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C1) .
  3. Remove the instrument panel extension trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Extension Side Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  4. Remove the tape from the data link resistor (1).
  5. Disconnect the data link resistor (1) from the instrument panel harness.
