Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Rear Seat Belt Retractor Bolt

Replace the rear seat belt retractor assembly (2) and rear seat belt retractor bolt (1).
Tighten

Tighten the intermediate bolt (1) to 43 N.m (31 lb ft).
Replace the upper rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Long Wheelbase Sedan) .

IMPORTANT:

Make Sure the seat belt lower anchor is parallel to vehicle centreline as shown in illustration.

Replace the bolt (1) attaching the seat belt lower anchor (2) to the vehicle
Tighten

Tighten the seat belt lower anchor mounting bolt (1) to 43 N.m (31 lb ft).
Replace the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
Replace the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement .
