Installation Procedure

Fig 1: View Of MAP Sensor Seal & Upper Intake Manifold

Install the MAP sensor seal into the upper intake manifold.
Install the MAP sensor and bracket.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the upper intake manifold bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

If required, install the spark plug wire clip to the intake manifold bracket.
Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector (1).
Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
