Installation Procedure
- Install the lower air cleaner housing by pushing the housing down, into the 2 rubber grommets on the inner rail.
- Install the TCM and the harness to the lower air cleaner housing.
- Install the PCM and the harness to the lower air cleaner housing.
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner assembly.
- Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the air cleaner assembly.
Tighten: Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Install the upper air cleaner housing to the lower housing. Engage the tabs on the upper housing to the slots on the lower housing.
- Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the PCV tube to the air inlet duct. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the throttle body.
- Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.
Tighten: Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Install the left inner fender brace. Refer to Front Fender Upper Diagonal Brace Replacement .
- Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
