Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the oil pressure sensor heat shield nut and shield.




2. Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector (1).




3. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor.

Tighten the sensor to 16 Nm (12 lb ft).




2. Connect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector (1).




3. Install the oil pressure sensor heat shield and nut.

Tighten the nut to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
