The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

CONDITION/CONCERN

Some customers may experience a "Charge Door Open " Message on the DIC when the charge door is closed. The concern may be current or the concern may be intermittent while driving.

RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS

If you experience this concern, please replace the charge port assembly with GM Part Number: 22821796.

After the part is installed, please review the vehicle history and see if customer satisfaction bulletin 11137 has been preformed. If not, please perform the customer satisfaction bulletin and program all the modules listed in the bulletin.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
