Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
  2. Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement .

  3. Loosen the fuel feed intermediate pipe (2) from the right fuel rail (1).
  4. Loosen the fuel feed intermediate pipe (2) from the left fuel rail (6).
  5. Loosen the fuel feed intermediate pipe (2) from the high pressure fuel pump (5).
  6. Remove the fuel feed intermediate pipe (2) from the engine. Discard the pipe.
