Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Knock Sensor (KS) Electrical Connector & Retaining Bolt

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the KS (2) to the engine block and tighten the retaining bolt (1) to 23 Y (17 lb ft).
  2. Install the knock sensor (KS) electrical (3) connector to the KS.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
