Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW MAP sensor seal.
  2. Install the MAP sensor (2) to the intake manifold assembly.
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the MAP sensor to intake manifold retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 4 Y (35 lb in).
  4. Connect the engine wiring harness to the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (2).
  5. Install the intake manifold sight shield.
