Circuit/System Verification
Verify that DTC B101D is not set.
- If the DTC is set in the K36 SDM along with DTC B0012, B0013, B0014, B0015, B0016, B0019, B001A, B001B, B0020, B0021, B0022, B0023, B0031, or B0038, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle to diagnose those DTC's first.
- If the DTC is set in the K36 SDM along with other DTC's in the K85 passenger presence detection module, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle to diagnose and repair those DTC's prior to replacing the K36 SDM. Failure to repair the K85 passenger presence detection module DTC's prior to K36 SDM replacement may lead to no communication with the K85 passenger presence detection module after the K36 SDM is replaced.
- If the DTC is set with symptom byte 43, program the control module that set the DTC. If the DTC resets, replace the control module that set the DTC.
- If the DTC is set with other symptom bytes, replace the control module that set the DTC.
