Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Knock Sensor (KS) Electrical Connector & Retaining Bolt

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the KS (2) to the engine block and tighten the retaining bolt (1) to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).
  2. Install the knock sensor (KS) electrical (3) connector to the KS.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
