Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS7 or LS9) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS3) .
  2. Remove the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (6.2L LS9 - With Supercharger) , Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (w/o LS9) .
1 Ignition Coil Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
12 N.m (106 lb in)
2 Ignition Coil

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect the ignition cable.
