Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

  1. Remove and disassemble fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Fuel Sender Assembly

  2. Disconnect the fuel sender assembly wiring harness plug (1).
  3. Unclip the 2 fuel sender retainer pins.
  4. Remove the fuel sender assembly (2).
