Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Knock Sensor And Bracket

  1. Install the knock sensor (2) to the bracket (3).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install the sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  3. Connect the wiring harness plug.

  4. Install the intake manifold bracket (1).
  5. Clip in the wiring harness.
  6. Install the 2 intake manifold bracket bolts (2, 3) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  7. Connect the negative cable to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  8. Close the hood.
