Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW throttle body gasket.
    2. Fig 1: Throttle Body

  2. Install the throttle body (1).
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the 4 throttle body bolts (2) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  4. Connect the throttle body heater inlet pipe (3).
  5. Connect the throttle body heater outlet pipe (4).
  6. Connect the positive crankcase ventilation pipe (1).
  7. Connect the wiring harness plug (2).
  8. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  9. Perform the throttle/idle learn procedure. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn .
