Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
    2. Fig 1: Intake Air Sensor Wiring Harness Plug

  2. Disconnect the intake air sensor wiring harness plug (1).
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
    4. Fig 2: Air Cleaner Element, Air Cleaner Housing, Air Cleaner Housing Cover And Bolts

  4. Remove the 6 air cleaner housing cover bolts (3)
  5. Remove the air cleaner housing cover (4).
  6. Remove the air cleaner element (2) from the air cleaner housing (1).
