Callout Component Name
WARNING:

In order to avoid being burned, do not service the exhaust system while it is still hot. Service the system when it is cool.

Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1 Heated Oxygen Sensor 2
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Disconnect electrical connector.
  2. After replacement of the heated oxygen sensor, use a scan tool to speed up learn functions. Refer to Engine Control Module Programming and Setup .
  3. If reusing the heated oxygen sensor, coat the thread with assembly paste.

Tighten 
42 N.m (31 lb ft)
