Preliminary Procedure: Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement
1	Communication Interface Module Bracket Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
2	Communication Interface Module Procedure Open the bottom of the hinged bracket and slide the module downward. Disconnect the electrical connections. If replacing the communication interface module be sure to transfer wireless communication interface antenna, if equipped. For programming and set up procedures, refer to Control Module References

Procedure

Open the bottom of the hinged bracket and slide the module downward.
Disconnect the electrical connections.
If replacing the communication interface module be sure to transfer wireless communication interface antenna, if equipped.
