Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power steering fluid cooler (1) in the vehicle.

  3. Connect the retainer (3) and the power steering fluid cooler (1) to the front end lower tie bar.
  4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the bolt (2) to the power steering fluid cooler and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  7. Connect the power steering fluid cooling pipe (1, 4) to the power steering fluid cooler (2, 3). Secure the pipe with the 2 hose clamps.

  9. Install the bolt (2) to the power steering fluid cooler (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  10. Install the radiator air lower baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement .
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
  13. Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle.
  14. Remove the drain pans.
