Circuit/System Description

The center console antenna is located in center console, directly beneath the cupholder, just forward of the center console storage compartment. The antenna is used to establish low frequency communications with the keyless entry transmitter. When the driver presses the vehicle on/off switch, the Keyless Entry Control Module communicates with the rear center console antenna.
