Removal Procedure

  1. Ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to:Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Rear
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor (2).
  4. Remove the MAP sensor to intake manifold retaining bolt (1).
  5. Remove the MAP sensor (2) from the intake manifold assembly.
  6. Discard the MAP sensor seal.
