Installation Procedure
- Install the generator (2) to the generator mounting bracket and tighten the mounting fasteners (1) to 58 (43 lb ft).
- Install the battery positive cable to the B + stud at the back of the generator and tighten the fastener (1) to 10 (89 lb in).
- Install the terminal boot (2) and connect the electrical connector (3).
- Install the rear generator brace (4) to the back of the generator and tighten the fastener (5) to 58 (43 lb ft).
- Install the accessory drive belt to the generator. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory .
- Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
