Preliminary Procedures Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (LL0) , Fuel Tank Replacement (LFM) . Disconnect the evaporative emission vent pipe connector and fuel feed connector.
1	Fuel Pump Lock Ring CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the fuel pump lock ring using J-45747 fuel sending unit wrench. Special Tools J-45747 Fuel Sending Unit Wrench For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Diagnostic Tools) .
