Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON.
Verify no HO2S heater DTCs are set.
- If a HO2S heater DTC is set.
  Refer to DTC P0031, P0032, P0037, or P0038 .
- Go to next step: If no HO2S heater DTC is set.
Allow the engine to reach operating temperature, engine running.
Verify the scan tool HO2S Sensor 2 voltage parameter is between 50 - 1050 mV.
- If not between 50 - 1050 mV.
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If between 50 - 1050 mV.
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets.
  Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set.
