Installation Procedure

Install the fuel tank filler pipe assembly (2).

Install the fuel tank filler pipe lower bolt (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
Connect the fuel tank filler hose (1) and clamp,

Tighten fuel tank filler hose clamp to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
Connect the fuel tank vent pipe connector (2).
Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Install the fuel filler pipe upper bolts (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

Close the fuel filler door and filler cap.
