Disassembly Procedure

  1. Remove the evaporative emission canister purge pipe (1).

  2. Disconnect the fuel tank recirculation pipe connector (2).
  3. Disconnect the fuel tank wiring harness (3) electrical connectors from the following:
    • Fuel tank pump
    • Fuel tank pressure sensor
    • Evaporative emission canister solenoid valve
  4. Remove the fuel tank vent pipe (4).
  5. Remove the fuel feed pipe (5).
  6. Remove the evaporative emission canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement (LL0) .
  7. Remove the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (LL0) .
  8. Remove the fuel tank heat shield. Refer to Fuel Tank Heat Shield Replacement (LL0) .
