Preliminary Procedures Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief . Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Fold rear seat, remove fuel pump cover, and disconnect fuel line and wiring harness.
1	Fuel Pump Lock Ring Procedure Remove fuel pump lock ring using EN-50167 ring. Special Tools EN-50167 Fuel Pump Lock Ring Remover/Installer For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Diagnostic Tools) .
2	Fuel Pump Procedure Remove fuel pump assemble above.
