Installation Procedure

  1. Coat the NEW O-Ring seal (3) with a bit NEW engine oil.

    NOTE: The EN-51146-2-5  calibrations tools must be installed.
  2. O-Ring (1) @ Fuel Injector (2)» Install
  3. Fuel Injector (3) @ Fuel Injection Fuel Rail (1)» Install [4x]

  4. Apply thread lock agent to 8 NEW fuel injector bolts. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers .
    NOTE: Do NOT reuse old bolts.
  5. Install 8 NEW fuel injector bolts to the fuel injectors (3) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  6. Connect the 4 fuel injector wiring harness plugs (2).
  7. Install the fuel injector rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Removal and Installation .
