Fuel Tank Replacement » Remove
Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Fuel Pump Module to Underbody » Remove
Electrical Connector (1)» Disconnect [2x]

Disconnect the evaporative emission canister vent pipe (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Install the CH-45722 Main Fuel Pump Locking Ring Remover/Installer (1) to the fuel pump module lock ring (2).

Using the CH-45722 Main Fuel Pump Locking Ring Remover/Installer (1) and a long breaker-bar, rotate the lock ring in a counterclockwise direction in order to unlock the lock ring.
NOTE: DO NOT use impact tools. Significant force will be required to release the lock ring. The use of a hammer and screwdriver is not recommended. Secure the fuel tank in order to prevent fuel tank rotation.
Remove the CH-45722 Main Fuel Pump Locking Ring Remover/Installer (1).
Remove the fuel tank pump module locking ring (1).

NOTE: Lift the fuel tank fuel pump module up slightly. Pay attention to the fuel level sensor.
Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module (2)» Remove
Remove and DISCARD the fuel pump module seal (3).

Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Replacement » Remove
