Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

- Remove the accessory drive belt from the generator. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory

- Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the generator.
- Reposition the protective boot (2) and remove the generator B + fastener (1).
- Remove the battery positive cable from the generator stud.
- Remove the fastener (5) securing the generator rear brace (4) to the back of the generator.

- Remove the generator mounting fasteners (1) and remove the generator (2) from the engine compartment.
