Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Air Cleaner Element

  1. Install the NEW air cleaner element (1) to the air cleaner assembly.
    2. Fig 2: Air Cleaner Lower Housing Retainers

  2. Install the air cleaner upper housing (2) to the air cleaner assembly.
    3. NOTE:

    Listen for an audible click to confirm correct installation of the air cleaner lower housing retainers (1).

  3. Install the air cleaner lower housing retainers (1) to the air cleaner upper housing (2).
  4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to air cleaner upper housing retaining clamp (3).
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to air cleaner upper housing retaining clamp (3) and tighten to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
