Body Control Module Replacement (Right Hand Drive)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Before replacement, refer to Control Module References .
  2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  3. Remove Instrument Panel Compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .

2 Body Control Module Connectors
3 Body Control Module

Procedure

  1. Detach the IP wiring harness clips from the IP tie bar and body side panel.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  3. Pull the body control module bracket retainer tabs to unlock the body control module.
  4. Remove the body control module.
