Circuit/System Verification

Verify the cooling system is filled to the correct coolant level. Refer to Cooling System Leak Testing , and Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- If the coolant level is not correct
  Repair as necessary
- Go to next step: If the coolant level is correct
Verify the DTC P0116, P0117, P0118 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
  Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the freeze frame/failure Records data.
Engine running at idle speed for 65 minutes.
- If any of the DTCs set
  Refer to Component Testing.
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs set
