Installation Procedure

  1. Carefully install the fuel injector fuel rail assembly (3) to the engine.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Tighten the fuel injector fuel rail assembly fasteners (7) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  3. Connect the fuel feed tube (1) to the fuel rail with the following procedure:

    1. Carefully align the center to avoid inclined insertion to prevent damage to the O-ring inside the quick connector.
    2. Firmly insert until you hear a "click" sound and actually feel the engagement.
    3. Firmly pull on the fuel feed tube quick connector to ensure it is locked.
  4. Install the fuel feed tube cap (1).

  5. Intake Manifold Replacement - Install
  6. Inspect for fuel leaks.
