Body Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Prepare body control module for replacement, refer to Control Module References
2. Disconnect Battery Negative Cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
3. Remove Instrument Panel Knee Bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement

Procedure

1. Disconnect the 3 IP wiring harness, the 3 lowest ones on the body control module.
2. Retrieve the body control module from under the lower instrument panel in the driver footwell area.
3. Disconnect the 4 body wiring harness electrical connectors.
4. After repairs, refer to Control Module References for programming and set up procedures.
