Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt

  1. Install the wheel speed sensor assembly to the suspension knuckle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Secure the wheel speed sensor harness to the clip (1) on the rear suspension knuckle.

  4. Connect the rear wheel speed sensor electrical connector and secure the harness clips (1).
  5. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  6. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
