Circuit/System Verification

  1. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  2. Verify that there are no engine controls or communication DTCs set.
    • Go to next step: If a DTC is not set 
  3. Verify that there are no transmission control module DTCs set.
    • Go to next step: If a DTC is not set 
  4. Verify that there are no ABS actuator control module DTCs set.
    • Go to next step: If a DTC is not set 
  5. Verify that there are no combination meter DTCs set.
    • Go to next step: If a DTC is not set 
  6. Verify that there are no conditions with the output speed sensor Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for diagnosis of output speed sensor.
    • If a condition exists 

      Repair or replace as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If a no condition exists 
  7. Verify that there are no conditions with the wheel sensor Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle for diagnosis of wheel sensor.
    • If a condition exists 

      Repair or replace as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If a no condition exists 
  8. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  9. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  10. All OK.
