Programming an Existing Control Module

To program an existing control module, perform the following procedure:

1. Open the Service Programming System (SPS) - Refer to: Service Programming System (SPS) 
2. Select: J2534 MDI
3. Select: Reprogram ECU
4. Select: Vehicle Data
5. Select: K71 Transmission Control Module
NOTE:

The following procedure updates the control module software.

6. Select: Programming
7. Select: Normal
8. Follow the on-screen instructions.
NOTE:

The following procedure configures the control module and carries out all necessary further steps for proper functioning of the control module.

9. Select: Configuration & Setup
10. Select: Normal
11. Follow the on-screen instructions.
