Circuit/System Description

The hybrid battery charger receptacle is connected to the battery charger through two 110/220 V AC circuits and one ground circuit. When the battery charger has been enabled by the hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2, the battery charger will provide an AC voltage measurement to the hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2. The hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2 allows charging to occur if proper AC voltage is present.
