Pickup Box Endgate Latch Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the pickup box endgate access hole cover panel. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Access Hole Cover Panel Replacement .
1	Endgate Latch Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: Use a grease pencil to mark the position of the endgate latch before removing the bolts. Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Endgate Latch Procedure Support the pickup box endgate. Release the endgate cable from the endgate cable bolt. Disconnect the latch rod from the latch handle. Remove the endgate latch and transfer the endgate cable and latch rod if needed.

Endgate Latch Bolt (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

NOTE:

Use a grease pencil to mark the position of the endgate latch before removing the bolts.

Tighten
22 N.m (16 lb ft)

Endgate Latch

Procedure

Support the pickup box endgate.
Release the endgate cable from the endgate cable bolt.
Disconnect the latch rod from the latch handle.
Remove the endgate latch and transfer the endgate cable and latch rod if needed.
