WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
To program an existing control module, perform the following procedure:
- Install the special tool: EL-49642 SPS Programming Support Tool
- Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
- On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 - Programming and follow the on-screen instructions.
- At the end of programming, choose the "Clear All DTCs"
- Vehicles with DC fast charging, RPO CBT, require the vehicle to be driven at a speed greater than 30 km/h (19 mph) to re-enable DC Charging.
CAUTION:
DO NOT program the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 with the drive motor battery charger cable connected to the vehicle. Charging while programming may result in damage to the High Voltage Battery Disconnect Relays.
