Reprogram Control Module (ECU)

To program an existing K71 Transmission Control Module, perform the following procedure:
- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
- On the SPS Supported Controllers screen select K71 Transmission Control Module - Programming, and follow the on screen instructions.
- Perform the Refresh Characterization Data at the MCVM Characterization procedure. Refer to:Q77 Transmission Control Solenoid Valve Characterization Programming
- Perform the scan tool configuration/reset function:Transmission Service Fast Learn - If available
NOTE:
Begin with the vehicle in vehicle OFF power mode. The Service Programming System will power mode the vehicle.
