Replace and Program ECU or Reprogram ECU
NOTE:
When programming the B218L Side Object Sensor Module - Left, it is also necessary to program the B218R Side Object Sensor Module - Right to ensure software compatibility between the two modules. This is done automatically when selecting the B218L/R Side Object Sensor Module Sequential Programming function within SPS.
To program a replacement or an existing ECU, perform the following procedure:
- Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
- On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select B218L/R Side Object Sensor Module and follow the on-screen instructions.
- At the end of programming, be sure to clear any subsequent DTCs that may be present.
